  • The certification confirms Deutsche Telekom’s business unit as a trusted partner of Ribbon’s Session Border Controller solution
  • Deutsche Telekom Global Business establishes itself as a strategic partner in the deployment of communication networks and infrastructures

Deutsche Telekom Global Business, the international unit of Deutsche Telekom that offers telecom and connectivity services for small to large business customers and the public sector, becomes a Ribbon Silver Partner, a global provider of communications and IP networks for the implementation of the Core Session Border Controller (SBC) solution in Spain. With this new certification, Deutsche Telekom Global Business adds a wide range of SIP integration solutions to its service catalogue, within the scope of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) and Contact Centers. Ribbon’s leadership in real-time communication services contributes to offer tailored-solutions to the needs of each company.

“Our goal is to establish ourselves as the leading provider of communication and network solutions for companies and public administrations. We want to help them develop a communications and connectivity infrastructure that enables them to grow with greater flexibility and strength. This new certification is an example of our efforts to develop a portfolio of solutions and services that provides this value to our clients,” explains Javier del Río, Sales Expert at Deutsche Telekom Global Business Iberia.

The Core SBC solution allows companies to adapt to a new generation of public-network access, shifting from ISDN to SIP communications, and enabling complete integration between the various Unified Communications ecosystems of different manufacturers. The solution enriches the portfolio of Deutsche Telekom Global Business, consolidating its position as a strategic partner in the deployment of communication networks, infrastructure, and contact center solutions. In the current context, the demand for cloud communication and collaboration solutions and services (such as Microsoft Teams) is increasing exponentially due to the expansion of telecommuting.

“We’re familiar with Deutsche Telekom Global Business’ good work with these types of clients and with their excellent human team, so we know the path to success awaits us,” says Rafael Vicent, Channel Account Manager at Ribbon.

The partnership between Deutsche Telekom Global Business and Ribbon in Spain serves as a tremendous opportunity for both companies. Ribbon products contribute value to large corporations with complex voice networks, to contact centers, and any company in general that adopts a Cloud PBX solution like, for example, Microsoft Teams.

Deutsche Telekom Global Business was founded and renamed as a new company in 2020, but has been providing telecomm and connectivity services for almost 20 years, previously as a part of T-Systems, also a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. This latest accreditation is in addition to those it already has from Oracle, as an Oracle Communications Hyperconnected Enterprise, which certifies that Deutsche Telekom Global Business provides quality service in voice, video, and the latest generation of Unified Communications through the use of IP networks, in addition to SBC solutions, among others.
